This melody is played at 90 BPM (beats per minute) and the pitches are arranged for woodwinds, brass, and percussion instruments. In the third time through the pattern, the example pitches will stop playing, but you should keep playing during that time so you can hear yourself clearly with the metronome. The example will reenter in the fourth time through the melody. If you would like to practice this exercise at a slower or faster tempo, visit the metronome section of Music All the Time.
